I regularly speak to a variety of different classes, groups, and organizations, including providing keynote addresses. Topics range from current issues facing museums and historic sites, the ethical interpretation of history, and a variety of historical topics related to my research and interpretation at the different places I have been privileged to work.
Ethical Interpretation: Telling Stories of Our Shared Past in the Places Where They Happened
In this talk, I introduce ethical interpretation of history and principles for its implementation. The principals are focused on crafting interpretation and how people interact with the history, each other, and themselves.
